Changhua County

Changhua City (彰化市) is the county seat of Changhua County in Taiwan. At one time an activity area of the Babuza Taiwanese aborigines, it's name derives from the aboriginal word Poasoa.

 

Yunlin County

Huwei (虎尾鎮) is an urban township in Yunlin County, Taiwan. It has a population of about 67,000. Its seventeenth century name was Favorlang.

Gilbertus Happart was a seventeenth-century Dutch missionary to Formosa (now known as Taiwan). He was stationed in the village of Favorlang (modern-day Huwei) and wrote a dictionary of the Babuza language of the inhabitants
